Also commonly known as Hip Arthroplasty, Hip replacement surgery may be required if your hip pain interferes with your daily activities, and other forms of non-surgical treatments have not worked for you.
Patients commonly stay in hospital for up to 4 days after a total hip replacement , mobilising as soon as possible post operatively. Recovery varies for each patient , but driving is resumed after 6 weeks post op.
